A. Julia (Judy) Graves is a cofounder of Graves, Hill & Colton, P.A. and works primarily in the areas of family law, education law, and criminal defense.
Judy is a native Floridian who grew up in Vero Beach and graduated from Vero Beach High School. She attended the University of Florida and received a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts and sciences in 1982. In 1987, she received her master of business administration from the Florida Institute of Technology, and in 1990 graduated with a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
Judy worked at the State Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor from 1990 to 1995 in the 19th Judicial Circuit, handling both misdemeanors and felonies. In that time, she prosecuted more than 100 jury trials.
In 1995, she founded the firm of Graves, Hill & Colton, P.A. with Kate Hill and dedicated herself to serving the community of Vero Beach.
