Kathryn (Kate) Hill is a cofounder of Graves, Hill & Colton, P.A., and specializes in family law and criminal defense.
Kate was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and graduated from the Webb School of Knoxville in 1981. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and received a bachelor of business administration in 1985. While at SMU, Ms. Hill was a member of the varsity swim team.
In 1989 Ms. Hill received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami Law School, where she was a member of the Criminal Law Society and an intern for the Dade County State Attorney’s Office.
Ms. Hill was employed as a prosecutor for the 19th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office from 1990 to 1995, where she handled misdemeanor and felony cases, prosecuted more than 80 jury trials, and supervised the misdemeanor department.
In 1995, she founded the firm of Graves, Hill & Colton, P.A. with Judy Graves, setting out to provide top-quality legal services to the Vero Beach community.
Ms. Hill has been a member of the board of directors for the March of Dimes and Community Child Care Resources, as well as a member of the Domestic Violence Task Force. She has two daughters.
